L’artista Angela Valentini, si forma al Liceo Artistico poi all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino con Elio Marchegiani, Giorgio Bompadre, Renato Bruscaglia. Affronta un percorso di studi rigido dedicato alla pittura anche attraverso i contatti avuti con il maestro Remo Brindisi.
Conclusa l’Accademia con il massimo dei voti, si iscrive ad un corso per Operatori Audiovisivi istituito dalla Regione Marche conseguendo l’attestato di Operatore al Montaggio. Ben presto inizia a lavorare presso una cooperativa di audiovisivi “Truka” lavorando tra Ancona e Cinecittà. In questi anni scopre un particolare interesse per i costumi teatrali e i tessuti. Dopo qualche anno inizia a lavorare nel campo della moda e questo fa aumentare l’interesse per il tessile.
Nel 1998 si abilita all’insegnamento di Discipline Pittoriche e contemporaneamente inizia la sua attività di docente presso Licei Artistici.
Nasce come pittrice, ma ben presto la sua ricerca artistica si evolve verso il tridimensionale, alla scultura concepita come istallazione, portandola ad avere come mezzo di espressione il filo. La materia è parte integrante del suo lavoro che si concentra in particolar modo sulla figura femminile associata alla natura, alla potenza energetica della Madre Terra, esplorando spazi interiori e luoghi dell’anima intrisi di ricordi, di vissuto, di sogni, di rituali, di emozioni che si aprono a tematiche sociali.
Dal 2010 circa, sperimenta nuovi materiali anche di recupero e oggetti del passato. Memore di antichi mestieri, affronta un viaggio interiore nel tempo, che ci rimanda alla mitologia.
Il filo è nel suo DNA, essendo figlia di una sarta, le sue trame scaturiscono dai ricordi della sua infanzia: esso contamina anche le sue opere pittoriche, ed è presente in tutta la sua produzione artistica.
Da questo momento in poi si susseguono una serie di mostre collettive e personali vincendo anche Premi Internazionali.
After completing the Academy with top marks, she enrolled in a course of Audiovisual Operators organized by Marche Region taking the Assembly Operator certificate. She soon began working at an audiovisual cooperative called “Truka” working beetwen Ancona and Cinecittà, Roma. In these years she has discovered a particular interest in theatrical costumes and fabrics. After a few years she began working in the fashion sector and this increased her interest in textiles.
In 1998 she qualified to teach Pictorial Disciplines and at the same time began her teaching career at Art High Schools. She was born as a painter, but her artistic research soon evolved towards the three-dimensional, towards a sculpture intended as an installation, leading her to have thread as a means of expression. The material is an integral part of her work which focuses in particular on the female figure associated with nature, with the energetic power of Mother Earth, exploring interior spaces and places of the soul rich in memories, experiences, dreams, rituals, emotions that speak of the issues social.
From around 2010 you began to experiment with new materials, including recycled materials and antique objects. Mindful of ancient crafts, she faces an internal journey through time, which takes us back to mythology.
The thread is in her DNA, being the daughter of a seamstress, her plots arise from her childhood memories: she also contaminates her pictorial works, and is present in all of her artistic production.
From this moment on, a series of collective and personal exhibitions followed, also winning International Awards.
